I set my hair on fire this morning. Black flakes, oddly geometric, peppering the floor, my first priority was to clean them all up, pressing down on each one with my pointer finger, only then did I remember that my hair might still be on fire,

Olivia Dunn is a Visiting Assistant Professor of writing at Skidmore College and a creative writing instructor at the Arts Center of the Capital Region.
