Welcome to Issue 6.4!
This is the last issue of February, so that means this is my last chance to remind you about two things: the anthology and the Poetry Contest.
For the next two days, we are still donating 10% of the profits from sales of “Raising Her Voice” to Care—a very worthwhile charity, which empowers women and girls around the world. Treat yourself to a fantastic book featuring work by twenty-one women writers from around the world and help to further the cause of empowering women!
There are only two days left until the deadline for the Poetry Contest! Submit your poetry to win $50 and print publication in our next anthology! You can submit find all the guidelines and submit here.
This week’s issue features brilliant work by three fantastic women authors. Megan Clark brings us a somber personal essay “High.” “Getting Past the Gate” by Meagan Lucas is one of the wonderful short stories that first appeared in “Raising Her Voice.” You’re going to enjoy “Hair Obsession” by Judyth Hill. Connect with these ladies online and let them know you appreciate their work. I know you’re going to like it!
As always, we appreciate so much your shares on social media!
