Somewhere in the Old Testament, mankind lost its way,
so God brought on a flood and started again.
This supports my theory about writers and gods:
we never get it right on the first try.
Rebecca Cohen is a graduate of the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, where she minored in creative writing.
