Genesis
Somewhere in the Old Testament, mankind lost its way,
so God brought on a flood and started again.
This supports my theory about writers and gods:
we never get it right on the first try.
Rebecca Cohen is a graduate of the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, where she minored in creative writing. She is currently pursuing a secondary degree in the United Kingdom, whilst continuing to write both poems and short fiction. She was born and raised in New York, along with her three sisters, who inspire her every day and have had a profound effect on her writing.
