Welcome to Issue 5.3—a truly international issue! We have work today representing writers from Canada, England, and Germany.
We are excited to bring you three fantastic pieces by these talented women writers. Katie Flynn brings us a heart-wrenching essay called “Before I was Mom”. Philippa East’s short story “Dearest Miss Mills” will be sure to tug on your heartstrings. And Bineta Robbe’s poem “Milk” is not to be missed. Please be sure to connect with these authors through social media or their websites and let them know you enjoyed their work!
I have been hard at work compiling and editing our first annual anthology, and we are getting very close to being able to announce a release date. If you’re not already following us on Twitter or Facebook, please do! Following us on social media is a great way to hear about what we’ve got coming up, such as the anthology and (spoiler alert!) announcements about upcoming contests with cash prizes.
We’re grateful to all of you, from the bottom of our hearts, for sharing our links and helping us create a broader platform from which to share the work of talented women and girls from around the world. Please keep sharing! One retweet can go a very long way!
Enjoy Issue 5.3. I know you’re going to love it!
