Welcome to Issue 6.3!
As always, I’m so proud of the fantastic work we have this week. Before I tell you about it, I want to remind you of two things:
First, for the month of February, we are donating 10% of the profits from sales of our anthology “Raising Her Voice” to Care.org to empower women and girls around the world. If you’re thinking about purchasing a copy for yourself or as a gift, now is a great time to do so. You can treat yourself (or a friend!) to a good book and do some good in the world. It’s a win/win!
Secondly, we are over halfway to the deadline for our first ever Poetry Contest. You can find more information here.
And now for the good stuff! I’m so excited to bring you a fabulous personal essay by Laura Winnick called “What Should We Call Us”, an incredible short story by Rebecca Williams called “Reflections”, and a heart-wrenching poem by Indira Sammy called “Recognition.” I know you’re going to enjoy these pieces.
Thanks in advance for sharing our posts on social media. We appreciate your support!
Until next time!
